The grace of God has come to meet us right where we are at to rescue us and it God loves us too much to allow us to stay the same.

What is the reality and response of salvation? Peter addresses that today in the text as we also see what true belief is.

. So, as Christians in a post-Christian society, where is our identity found, where do we fit and what are we to do? To help address this we begin a new series today entitled, I Believe.

God is able. He is able to answer prayers. There are times, though, that our prayers go unanswered.

Today we look at who Jesus prays for and what He prays for them.

As we continue in our series on prayer we come to a parable with an important principle for believers to follow. In Luke 18:9-14, Jesus shares a parable about attitude and prayer. One attitude is self-righteous pride and arrogance, a blatant disregard for God's grace and sovereignty. The other attitude is humble, meek and repentant before a holy God. So the question is: which attitude do you take in prayer?

I am looking forward to the next four weeks as we journey through the school of prayer. Four weeks is not nearly enough time to learn all that we can about prayer, but I pray God begins to teach us to fervently pray. Today we begin with look at what Jesus taught His disciples when it came to prayer. I pray we will be disciples who pray kingdom prayers.

Jesus turns things upside down defining what greatness in the kingdom of God is and what it is not, while giving us the greatest example and truth of all.

Today as we venture back to the gospel of Matthew we see what the kingdom looks like. As we look at the picture of the kingdom in Jesus’ words we see a picture of God and how he deals with man. We see how one enters the kingdom, works in the kingdom, the attitude and motive they have, and what that work is.

Today is what many evangelicals remember as Sanctity of Life Sunday.
