Jesus again takes up the theme of His death and resurrection with His disciples. The disciples are focused on the dominant story/narrative of the day instead of what Jesus is revealing as truth (an alternative narrative). We are faced with the same tension today in our world. What story will we get sucked into?

God has ordained that the filling up of all things in Christ is to be done through the church Jesus is building, His body. If that is so, then our lifestyle, how we walk and holiness should be of utmost importance.

In Matthew's Gospel this week we see Jesus preparing a people by God's revelation that are a great contrast in their common confession, communication, clinging hope, constant battle, continued commitment and their consummated future.

Today we look at a very pivotal section in Matthew's Gospel seeing the greatness of our God and the great responsibility He has given to the church

100% of the world is spiritually blind. The is a worldwide problem. The only cure is the illuminating work of the Spirit of God.
