The grace of God in Christ has appeared to “train us” to live as Christians in the present age, while we wait for Christ’s second appearing when he ushers in the age to come. Grace trains professing Christians to also be practicing Christians.

Christians believe the good news of Jesus Christ. There is also the need to live in a way that the gospel is adorned by the behavior of all who profess Christ. So there are behaviors fitting for Christian men and women, young and old.

Every Christian should highly value the scriptures, but a pastor must. This is a non negotiable. He must be faithful to "hold fast the trustworthy word" in order that he may feed the church with instruction in sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

The gospel is of first importance because it solves our greatest problem, offers an eternal hope, satisfies our deepest longing, and transforms the whole person.

The grace of God is his overflowing, boundless, neverending kindness and love toward those who do not deserve it. The grace of God is that which pours of the heart of God like an unending river raising dead people to life, cleansing sinners clean, uniting them to Jesus Christ, forgiving and justifying them once for all, adopting them into his family forever, all through the work of Jesus Christ on their behalf.

We experience change all the time. The living God does not. And this is good news.
