God reveals Himself to us through creation and His Word, and Jesus is the Word made flesh who dwelt among us so that we might behold His grace and truth. Therefore, we should be people who learn the Law, love the Law, and live the Law for God’s glory.

God's people are not to covet but to be content in the Lord. The Lord Jesus submits to the will of God by willingly and joyfully becoming poor so that we might become rich. Now, Christians can slay covetousness and find lasting contentment in Christ!

The ninth commandment is about much more than not bearing false witness. As Christians, we are called to represent one another truthfully and honorably. This can only be done through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ who loved the truth and honored His own good name!

God is a God who saves, and a God who sanctifies. So, God desires a people who obey His Law. At the heart of His command to not steal is the need to put to death thievery, treasure the Lord Jesus Christ, and pursue generosity regarding our work and our giving for God's glory!

God created marriage between one man and one woman, and within that unique relationship, God gave the gift of sex. The Israelites failed to worship God exclusively, so God called them adulterers. But Jesus is faithful in every regard. Jesus was faithful to other humans, His Father, and His Bride!

The sixth commandment is not only a prohibition against physical offenses but also internal offenses from our hearts. However, the Lord Jesus fulfilled the command through His life and death that we might put to death murder by loving others without reservation or hesitation forever!

Honoring father and mother is a foundational command to honoring authority, and one Israel broke early and often. Jesus perfectly honors his father and through his obedience makes us righteous. This frees us to a life commitment of bringing honor to our family name, the name "Christian."

Peter urges the church to live in awe of God amidst persecution by recalling the ransom price for sin and Jesus’ purposeful resurrection. Therefore, we are to be in awe of what God has accomplished through Christ so that in all times, our faith and hope are in Him alone!

Jesus, the Lamb of God, takes away the sins of the world by conquering the curse of God so we might be set free from our sin and enjoy Him forever!

We read in Isaiah that the Servant came, not with pomp and ceremony but unassumingly, as a Servant who would suffer on behalf of God’s people, to die the death they deserve, but who will reign forever as King of the nations. The Lord Jesus is the Servant who was promised as King of Kings!
