God is a God who saves and God is a God who sanctifies. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Therefore, we are in desperate need of a Mediator, the Lord Jesus, who perfectly satisfies God’s righteous demands so that the nearness of God is our eternal good!

The Lord continues to deliver His people as He saves and organizes them for their good and His renown. Likewise, the Lord Jesus is the chief cornerstone of the Church who prepares His diverse bride for their holiness and their eternal happiness in Him!

God is a God who saves and sanctifies. God provides His people with a glorious salvation from death and enslavement, and God will continue to provide His people with everything they need in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. The question is: will we trust Him or will we grumble?

God’s glorious salvation for Israel from death and from their enslavement to Egyptian taskmasters through the Red Sea anticipates a greater salvation from sin and death through the Lord Jesus and His death on the cross. Both call for exuberant praise from the people of God!

Some things in this life should never be forgotten. The Lord instituted the Passover Meal, Feast of Unleavened Bread, and Consecration of the Firstborn to teach us that constantly remembering how God saved us through a substitutionary sacrificial Lamb is absolutely essential to having an ongoing thriving relationship with Him.

Communicating with God is an incredible privilege that we’ve been granted in Christ. Praying biblically highlights our reverence, dependence, and understanding of God’s Word and God’s will. Therefore, let us be a people who are resolved to pray biblically.

The Bible teaches us that it’s the kindness of God that leads a person to repentance, but that is never an isolated event. Instead, the life of a believer is marked by the on-going process of turning from sin and walking in righteousness to the glory of God.

All of humanity is prone to place themselves in positions of honor, where God alone is worthy to sit. But by God's grace, Christians are given the power to walk in humility, just like the Lord Jesus. Therefore, we must look to the humble One, die to ourselves, and live for the good of others!

If we’re going to hear Jesus say, “Well done, My good and faithful servant,” then we must be resolved to live on mission by becoming all things to all people so that some might repent and believe the good news of the gospel, and we not be disqualified from salvation!

No one has ever seen God. So while God has communicated truth throughout history, what the Son has revealed about God is superior. The presence of Jesus among us demonstrated why it was necessary for God to come in the flesh and show us His glory. The incarnation confirms God’s devotion to His people so each of us might be clear about our eternal future.
