Moses states the unthinkable to God in Exodus 33:18, “Show me Your glory.” But through that interaction, we learn that God’s glory is best seen in His justice and mercy, which go hand in hand and find their fulfillment in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate embodiment of the glory of God.

What were we made for? What brings more joy, delight, and contentment to our lives than anything else? It’s the knowledge of God. In fact, Jesus says in John 17:3, “This is eternal life, that we may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is absolutely essential to the Christian faith. It certifies that Jesus truly is the Son of God, our Prophet, Priest, and King, and that our salvation is absolutely secure in Him.

The gospel is the power of God both for the salvation and the sanctification of all those who believe in Jesus (Romans 1:16, 1 Peter 2:2). Therefore, we are called to know the gospel, love the gospel, preach the gospel, and defend the gospel for the glory of Christ and the salvation of sinners.

Jesus Christ, the ultimate innocent and perfect One, was condemned as guilty by unjust powers in the 1st century. But this is a shadow of the real guilt Jesus bore in the cup of God’s wrath to make sinners righteous. We are the guilty, and through Jesus’ suffering, we are able to be made ‘innocent’

Jesus is the faithful Shepherd who submits to the will of the Father and willingly drinks the cup of God's wrath by laying down His life for His sheep. In response, Jesus calls us, NOT in our own resolve to be faithful, BUT to rest in His faithfulness.

Jesus is the ultimate and final Passover Lamb who came to deliver God’s people from the penalty of death and their enslavement to sin through His once for all substitutionary death on the cross. In response, we should have a whole-hearted devotion to Him as our glorious Savior!

Christ’s return and the judgment of the world is the next event on the redemptive calendar. Since He will come like a thief in the night, with only the Father knowing, we must be ready for His return by believing the gospel, living for the Kingdom, and longing for His coming!
