Service From Hell

This week, Peacock's Director of Comedy Specials, Meghan Dineen, joins us to discuss why we have lost the plot on entitlement vs. the collective good. This totally relates to customer service and is an important (but funny) discussion. Also, to be clear, the discussion is in no way denigrating anyone on the autism spectrum. Those with this diagnosis are not what is being discussed. What is being discussed is LYING about said diagnosis and using it to not give a s*&t about those around you. For resources on how to actually help the autism community, visit here and here!

Activist and Events Producer @chel.sea.quinn is on the podcast this week to discuss North Korean liberation (not a joke), working at a funeral home, and how asking a 16 year old to be in charge of a major piece of a wedding is actual insanity.

Author, dance instructor, entrepreneur, father of five, and (obviously) tired person, Chris Lynam joins us this week to celebrate the release of his new book, "The Choreography Of Customer Service: High Touch Service In A Touch Free World". A professional dancer for many years, Chris took his experience on the ballroom floor and translated it into a book. Lynam is so positive, he even made our host concede that maybe people aren't all terrible?!

These are the myriad ways you can get in touch with Chris and follow his amazing adventures, as well as a link to his podcast so you can listen to more gems there as well:

Welcome to another listener letter/bonus episode of the podcast. We got asked about this situation a lot, so we wanted to discuss it. What happens when you win the tip lottery (which all tipped positions sort of are - a lottery)? Who all do you owe for that windfall? We give our take.

Let us know how YOU feel about it. We'd love to hear it. servicefromhellpodcast @gmail dot com.

Here are the resources we used for the discussion:

This week, Comic Erick Hellwig joins us for a 2 parter because we chatted for over 2 hours. That's nuts, but we are so grateful to have gotten so much time with him. He also has an adorable pupper that makes a few appearances. You'll love it.

Erick has a bunch of tour dates coming up and you should hit up his socials @erickhellwig for more info on dates/tickets. His stand up is even funnier than he is on this episode. Find him!
