This week, producer, coordinator, and manager Michelle Garris teaches us how to not be door mats and how to get what is ours. Lots of spiritual gems in this one from her history with customer service jobs. Our fave was, "the good days were when people just weren't awful to you." But don't worry - she also spills some celebrity tea...

This week, Indiana-bred Angeleno and co-founder of 212 Creative Network, Laura Hilker, tells us about her early days cleaning off iceberg lettuce and getting bologna stuck under her fingernails. She would also like Applebees to know that they lost a good one when she walked out the door.

This week, we've added another bonus episode to the mix because a good friend of the podcast, @BellaHeathcote, is quarantining in Australia as the world of film and television remains tightly locked. Originally recorded on June 7th, 2020, Bella discusses her gratitude for this time and our collective grief around not being able to physically interact with people. She gives us her time for a full episode which we will air at a later date. For now, find her on her socials @bellaheathcote

**This episode was taped pre-COVID 19 and is weirdly still apropos to now. **
Happy Pride Month, everybody! This week, Broadway star, singer, and actor Eric Michael Krop (@ericmkrop) joins us to discuss how he has been fired from almost all of his 16 jobs. Eric wins the award for "Most Epic Exit From Any Job" on this podcast. He is now a highly successful singer and songwriter and we are super blessed that he carved out some time for us in between recording his album.
We also recorded this on the floor of my bedroom because this was VERY early on in my podcasting days, and he was amazing about it. Y'all - work with this talented artist. He has zero ego and nothing but pure talent.

~ Fact check - WeHo minimum wage is actually $13/hour, not $15 which we say on this episode. ~
**This is a FaceTime interview with sound issues all over the place, so please be patient. An in person with him was impossible due to COVID-19**
Hailing from St. Louis, MO, Nephrologist Dr. Nicholas J Mayer is discussing everything from tipping for saving lives, to how little mental health training they get in med school. Oh - and we DO discuss COVID-19, as he is working on the front lines of that fight. Also - he wants to help answer your questions! Have some? Email us at service from hell podcast at gmail dot com and he will do a follow up episode with us and handle what questions you have weighing you down.
*Originally recorded in December of 2019*
This week, actor and writer Jaya Subramanian joins us for a VERY graphic discussion about poop and blood all while she worked at her favorite customer service job - a bookstore. Originally from the GREAT city of Chicago, IL, Jaya has been working her way out of customer service since she got into it and IS one of the lucky few that got out.

Oh wow this week is tons of screaming, lots of incoherent tangents and more screaming. We're already sorry, but hey - this is how quarantine is - filled with screams.
This is our final group episode in LA and @punkiejohnson, @leigh.l.q and @ifuxwitbianca are back with a vengeance. Thank you all SO much for listening. We will eventually get back to normal. Please excuse all of the screams - there are seriously so many.
As Kate's time in LA winds down (for the time being) and The Comedy Store is not looking to open any time soon, we got the entire band back together for one last in-person Quarantine Chronicles episode (part 1 of 2). @leigh.l.q, @punkiejohnson and @ifuxwithbianca are in person and via FaceTime, we snag @earlskakel and @chandlerbarbee to chat us up about their jobs being effected, too.
We discuss all the light topics like race, class and gender, so be sure to listen to us get raw. /////

Punkie's not dead! And everyone is loud, annoying, dropping things, and BORED! This week is weird and that's just how quarantine is - sometimes, it's weird. @punkiejohnson and @leigh.l.q join us to discuss how we are boring and this experience is also boring, but we are not mooches for not wanting to go back to work just yet. @ifuxwitbianca comes in at the end to cause even more chaos and make editing this week's episode an actual nightmare. Enjoy!

Quarantine guests @leigh.l.q and @ifuxwithbianca come back and discuss WAY inside baseball information from working at The Comedy Store and how 2 out of the 3 of us don't want to go back to work because this no work life is pretty dope.
Thank you for listening all of these weeks in quarantine. Things are a little different for us but you guys listening keeps us going! Have stories of your own? Email us here at service from hell podcast at gee male dot com.
