Welcome to Tuesday, March 31st!
Starting today, I am providing a new daily devotional resource. During these days when we are not able to be in church and have as much contact with each other as we would like, I hope this provides some encouragement.
Each audio podcast will include a short devotional and some thoughts on a Bible verse. Hopefully, it will both encourage our faith and keep all of us connected to Christ, His church and each other.

In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, in the message, "It's Always Time To Rejoice!", Pastor Swanson shares that everything that we are and have in Jesus Christ should prompt our hearts to rise above the circumstances around us and rejoice!
It’s so easy to let life dictate our emotions and state of being. But in God, there is a joy available to us right where we are, no matter how good or bad the situation may be.

In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, in the Lenten message, "Acquaintance or Friend", Pastor Swanson notes that Peter’s moment of decision is one that we are often faced with as well.
Sadly, we often also end up denying Jesus, not because our lives are in danger, but because our association with Jesus Christ is weak.
If you lack the marks of a committed Christian, God can transform you into a true disciple if you simply surrender and let Him have your will.

In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, in the message, "When Life Seems Out Of Control", Pastor Swanson shares an encouraging message for the time that we are in.
At the moment, most everyone probably feels that life seems to have gotten out of control - and in such a short period of time. The news bulletins from the media are discouraging and mostly dire and foreboding.
We don’t know what to believe. Several media outlets have even used the word: “Apocalypse.” That word is usually reserved for situations that signal the end of all things.
There is no doubt that there is much fear within the hearts of people. Even as Christians, we can fearful. We are not immune to the current conditions and circumstances within our nation and the world.
However, we can rest assured that this has not caught God off guard! If you desire further information, it may be obtained at [email protected].
In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, in the Lenten message, "The Apostle Who Turned Traitor", Pastor Swanson notes that a traitor is one guilty of a breach of trust. A traitor is one who helps, encourages, or supports the enemies of the cause for which the traitor professes to stand.
Throughout history, the common consent of men has been that the prince of traitors was Judas Iscariot. His failure serves as a warning to all of us!
Judas had heard, fellowshipped with, and observed the Lord Jesus at close range for several years, but apparently he still had no personal relationship with Him by faith.

In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, in the message, "All For Me", Pastor Swanson notes the great provisions that have come our way through the death of the Lord Jesus and by virtue of our placing our faith in Him for salvation.
One of the verses of the text is Romans 5:8 which ends with two very profound words that illustrate God’s intent. . . for us.

In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, in the Lenten message, "God's Lost and Found", Pastor Swanson notes that if we know an item is lost, we try to find it. However, sometimes we are totally unaware that something needs to be found.
Often, men and women do not know that they themselves need to be found, but God realizes the need!
