Welcome to Saturday, May 29th!
This episode of The 7-Minute Cross Talk Bible Study is titled:
From The Inside Out!
This study is on this week's Gospel Lesson - John 3:1-17.
Most of us Christians are very familiar with the Gospel Lesson for this week.
Mainly, because it contains a verse we memorized early on in Sunday School. You may have heard it described as The Gospel In A Nutshell.
That verse is, of course, John 3:16.
The Gospel Lesson is also fascinating because it records a conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus. Nicodemus is recognized as being a leader within the Sanhedrin. . .possibly the Chief Ruler within this Jewish ruling body.

This episode of The 7-Minute Cross Talk Bible Study is titled:
High And Lifted Up
This study on this week's Old Testament Lesson - Isaiah 6:1-8.
Before being called into service, God provides Isaiah with a vision of just how exalted and majestic that He is.
I believe that all of us must come to grips with who God really is before we can adequately worship and serve Him.
Isaiah heard the call and responded to the call. With his sins forgiven Isaiah was filled with joy and thanksgiving and therefore leapt at the opportunity to serve his Lord.

What's Important!
We often have difficulty as well sorting out that which is important in our lives.
Our lives are often complicated to the point of being almost overwhelming. This then sometimes leads to poor decisions being made over what is truly important.
God’s Word is full of verses illustrating those things and behaviors that are important.
If you are faced today with figuring out something in your life, run it
by the Lord. He will give you the wisdom to know what is the best
decision. . .what’s most important!

Welcome to Monday, May 24th!
Today’s episode of The Cross Talk Daily Devotional is titled:
Radical Behavior
As an adjective, radical means an extreme change from accepted or traditional forms such as a radical return to our founding principles or a radical return to biblical faith principles. . . that is, a return to true Christianity.
Being radical Christians means that we purposefully come against the unbiblical norms of society.
We call for and work for biblical change. This includes sharing our faith with the lost around us even if society comes against us.
If you truly believe that you have the real truth, you can radically change a person’s life by sharing it with them.

Welcome to Sunday, May 23rd!
Today’s episode of The Cross Talk Daily Devotional is titled:
At All Times
We need to be committed to praising and glorifying God. . .bearing
witness of His presence and care within our lives.
For some reason, we often think that when life is not going well that it means that God is no longer caring for us and no longer worthy of our praise.
Is that true? Absolutely not!
Do we go through different seasons in life? Of course! Some are positive times - times that we look back upon fondly. Some seasons are joyful while others are very painful.
We are, as King David was committed to doing - to be determined to worship the Lord and praise His name at all times.

In this episode of Serving Jesus Christ, Pastor Swanson shares a Sunday message titled,
What Kind Of Religion?
Every other faith in the world, except Christianity, is only applied to the exterior of a person’s life. By definition, it must be this way because they do not have the power to fundamentally change the individual.
They are all based on reformation rather than transformation. As such, they are based on works, on what is often described as works righteousness.
What kind of religion do we need?If you desire further information, it may be obtained at [email protected].

Today’s episode of The Cross Talk Daily Devotional is titled:
Fishing Season
Satan loves the sport of fishing . . . that is, fishing for you and me. I believe that he loves picking out just the right hook and just the right bait . . . creating just the right temptation for each of us.
How many times do we realize after the fact that we gave in to one of Satan’s fishing expeditions?
