This year, Billy O'Loughlin managed Longford senior footballers who retained their division 3 NFL status.  In a winner take all, the Midlanders beat O'Loughlin's native Laois in the final game relegating the O'Moore County to division four. 
Here, in an extensive interview which includes Billy's memories of that day ,  the recently appointed SETU Carlow senior football manager  recalls great times when Mick O'Dwyer managed Laois to a Leinster senior football title.
