On my journey of truth and self-discovery, I faced the threat of losing my mom and the people I knew as family.  Today I discuss the importance of being true to yourself.

When you feel like giving up, I urge you to remember why you got started.  Several times I’ve had to go back to my moment of truth…the conviction that got me started to help me stay the course!

TRUTH: The bandwagoners are a’coming! Listen in on why I believe we should never give up on our dreams!

You simply cannot get around doing the work and in fact, there are ingenious ideas that will be born as a result of you doing the work! Stay the course, do the work and win.

This weekend a guy tried to hijack my presentation by being combative and disruptive.  I learned a valuable lesson about how to maintain control of the room, be polite and deliver your message.

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Beyonce and Jay-Z perform at OTR II.  Yes, it was amazing and yes I was inspired.

I believe that it is wrong to teach someone that they are not allowed to feel specific emotions.  We perpetuate this cycle, particularly among boys and men.  I am urging all women, especially those raising sons–LET THEM FEEL AND EXPRESS THEIR EMOTIONS.

If it ain’t a priority, it don’t make sense! OK- I literally just made that up.  However, I believe it’s important for us to MAKE HEALING A PRIORITY.

I’m always asked about my relationship status and why I am single.  Today I express the things that are important to me and why I believe being single is worth it.

Last night I had an opportunity to speak at Grand Canyon University and encourage their students to create their lives! It’s important that we make our youth count by making every year count!
