  • The Strange Woman: Counterfeit Love
Proverbs 7 exposes the counterfeit love offered by sexual temptation and contrasts it with God's design for covenant love—a faithful, knowing, passionate relationship that reflects Christ's love for His church. In The Strange Woman: Counterfeit Love, Solomon's warning shows how sexual sin promises pleasure without consequences, yet ultimately brings brokenness, shame, and destruction. The message calls believers to recognize temptation early, flee rather than negotiate with it, pursue purity before the moment of decision, and value the faithful covenant love God designed within marriage.

  • The Race Paul Prioritized
This sermon explores the Apostle Paul's call to disciplined Christian service, using the metaphor of an athletic race to illustrate the necessity of self-control and purposeful living. The central message emphasizes that believers must surrender legitimate rights and restrain bodily appetites not for salvation, but to effectively advance the gospel and secure an eternal, incorruptible reward. The text distinguishes between mere activity and effective ministry, warning against the danger of becoming a 'castaway' by failing to live under the very truth one preaches. Through references to Hebrews and Philippians, the exposition highlights the importance of laying aside spiritual weights and sins to run with patience and precision. The sermon concludes with a practical framework for evaluating personal liberties, urging believers to live with open hands in surrendered obedience to Christ's will.

  • Purchased and Marveling
The sermon explores the doctrine of the atonement through the hymn 'His Robes for Mine,' emphasizing that God's hatred of sin necessitated the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. By examining 1 Corinthians 6, the message argues that believers are united with Christ and therefore must flee sexual immorality, recognizing that their bodies are sanctuaries of the Holy Spirit. The text highlights the profound cost of salvation, illustrated by Christ's cry of forsakenness on the cross, which satisfied divine justice and wrath. This immense purchase price establishes believers as belonging to Christ, not themselves, compelling a life of total devotion and worship. The sermon concludes by urging the congregation to engage deeply with the lyrics of worship, allowing the truth of the atonement to drive practical holiness and praise.

  • Already Adultery!! Part 1
OUTLINE: Connecting with the previous two sermons: How does Jesus show the sin of adultery to be something deeper than the act of adultery itself (5:27–28)? 1) How Numb We've Become! 2) Guard your Heart! 3) Already Adultery! Christological Conclusion: King David asks in Psalm 24: "Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?" How do you answer these two questions?? Summary AI Generated....... In this sermon on Matthew 5:27-30, Pastor Geoff explains that Jesus deepens the seventh commandment, teaching that adultery begins not merely with an outward act but with lust in the heart. Just as Jesus previously exposed anger as the root of murder, He now reveals lust as a heart-level sin that leads to adultery and many destructive consequences. The pastor challenges believers to consider how modern culture has normalized and desensitized people to sexual sin, emphasizing that lust is a universal struggle that affects thoughts, desires, and actions. Jesus calls His followers to guard their hearts vigilantly, recognizing that sinful behavior flows from inward desires rather than merely external circumstances. The sermon stresses that God sees every thought and motive, exposing self-deception and reminding believers that outward restraint alone does not equal righteousness. Yet the message ultimately points to hope in Christ, who alone lived without sin, fulfilled God's law perfectly, and offers forgiveness, transformation, and power through the Holy Spirit to help believers fight lust and pursue holiness. Through His grace, Christians can live as new creations, growing in purity and devotion to God.

  • The Household of God
Christian ID "The Household of God" Ephesians 2:17-22 One Family (vv. 17-19) 1 Pet. 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit. Col. 1:20c-22 20 ..... making peace by the blood of his cross.... 21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, One Home (vv. 19-22) 1 Cor. 3:12-14 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 1 Cor. 6:16-20 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, "The two will become one flesh." 17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 2 Cor. 6:14-16 14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness?

  • America is No Better Than Assyria
The sermon examines the six categories of sin that led to the judgment of Assyria in the book of Nahum, including oppression, idolatry, bloodshed, sexual immorality, sorcery, and misplaced trust in military strength. These biblical sins are directly applied to the modern United States, arguing that the nation exhibits similar patterns of wickedness, particularly regarding abortion, cultural perversion, and reliance on geopolitical power rather than divine protection. The message warns that just as Thebes and Nineveh were destroyed despite their defenses and allies, America faces a similar fate if it does not turn from its sins. The preacher urges the church to initiate national repentance by personally confessing sins, renouncing sinful behaviors, and rejoicing in the forgiveness found in Christ. Ultimately, the call is to spread the gospel and trust in the Lord, who sees all nations and delivers those who hope in His mercy.

  • Mankind’s Great Ungodliness
This sermon examines the revelation of God's wrath against human ungodliness as presented in Romans 1, emphasizing that this divine response is a settled, holy opposition to evil rather than an emotional outburst. The exposition identifies the root of sin as the suppression of truth, the failure to glorify God, and the preference for idols, which leads to a downward spiral of degeneration. It details the consequences of this rebellion, described as God giving humanity over to sexual depravity, debased minds, and a catalog of destructive vices. The tone is convicting yet pastoral, urging listeners to acknowledge their inherent need for salvation and to resist the pervasive nature of idolatry. Ultimately, the passage serves as a dark backdrop that highlights the necessity and brilliance of the gospel, inviting believers to receive God's righteousness through faith in Christ.
