San Francisco Supervisor Dean Preston has introduced legislation that would push the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing to fill half of its 1,002 vacant supportive housing units and remain at a vacancy below five percent moving forward. We’re joined by Supervisor Preston, who represents District 5, which includes the Tenderloin, the Haight, the Fillmore, Japantown, Civic Center and the Western Addition.
