SFM Presents: Beyond The Wall

Here is episode 5 as we discuss Game of Thrones Season 5 “Kill The Boy”.

In this episode we discuss Game of Thrones title sequence logic, killing boys, Hizdahr zo Loraq, the Targaryan family tree, Bolton over sharing, and grey scale infection vectors.

Be sure to vote in the poll/survey/contest/whateveritis before the next Sunday at 9pm eastern!

Strap in and enjoy episode 4 as we discuss Game of Thrones Season 5 “Sons of the Harpy”. We discuss the geography of Westeros, the “friend zone”, and just what the hell may be going on in Cersei’s head.

Spirited debates abound as we discuss episode 3 of Game of Thrones Season 5.

Things we mention this round include:

The team is back in full force digging deep into episode 2 of Game of Thrones Season 5.

Vivid Muse took a quick trip to Dorn to scout out locations for next weeks episode, so this episode features Chooch, Christiana, and Nutty delving deep into episode one of Game of Thrones’ fifth season.

As always we don’t get into book spoilers, but we do discuss how things are diverging.

We digress into a discussion on binge watching with recent examples of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Daredevil on Netflix.

But mostly we analyze what might really be happening in Westeros/Essos and make some wild guesses about prophecy and machinations.

Here is the audio of our reactions after watching the Season 5 Premier of Game of Thrones.

You can watch our full discussion tonight at 9pm Eastern. Even if you’re not able to tune in, you can hit the Q&A section of the event on Google+ to leave questions or comments.

The BTW crew fired up the cameras (and microphones) to discuss the upcoming season of HBO’s Game of Thrones.

We discussed the show spoiling future books; the Catch The Throne Mixtape Volume Two, and some (non spoiler) things we’re looking forward to seeing this season.

We bring you the long awaited Season 4 wrap-up.

At 9 pm Eastern on Wednesday, January 21st, Nutty, Christiana, Chooch, and Viv discussed Season 4 of HBO’s Game of Thrones.

We discussed episodes 9 and 10 of Season 4 coming to IMAX theaters. Chooch and Viv have tickets, and Christiana and Nutty are going to check availability near them – perhaps we’ll do a mini-review of the experience. Not to mention the full Season 5 trailer being revealed at those showings!

Hello SpecFicMedia listeners,

On Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 at 9pm Eastern, the Beyond the Wall crew will be recording a live podcast show in which we will bid farewell to our good friend, P.G. Holyfield.

There is also an in-person gathering and a Memorial Service occurring on Oct 11th and 12th, respectively.

If you would like to attend one or both of those events, please check the links on this post at SpecFicMedia.com.

Of course, we understand that not everyone will be able to attend in person.

For so many, these podcasts are how they knew him.

So, the show on Wednesday the 8th will be a way for us, and for you, to express your feelings about this man, who brought so many people together.

We on the crew will be sharing our feelings and memories, but, we would also like to hear from you. If you have words, audio or video that you would like to share, please email it to us at [email protected].

Even if you have already sent something, please re-send it if you would like it to appear on this show. If you would like to send something that is just for family or any other private audience, please indicate this in your email.

And of course, if you are reading this too late or are just unable to put your feelings together before we record, please send anyways.

Also, please help us boost the signal, both for this announcement and the show event links that will follow, so that everyone that would like to can participate.

P.G. Holyfield founded a great community at SpecFicMedia, but now his watch has ended.

Our watch continues and so we will carry on our sacred duty, which is to talk about things we love – and people that we love – with all of you.

Thank you, from your friends at SpecFicMedia.com.
