Shabbat Shalom

In episode 62, Sam Francart continues the study in the book of Revelation, with a focus on Revelation 22. In this chapter, we’ll read about could be called the new Eden. What the first Garden of Eden was supposed to be is fulfilled here. We’ll also finish out the chapter and the book of Revelation with the final verses that form the epilogue. An angel expressed the authenticity of the prophecy, and at the very end, Jesus warned that the end would come soon.

In episode 61, Sam Francart continues the study in the book of Revelation, with a focus on Revelation 21:9-27. We began by looking at verses 1-8 last week; the remaining verses in Revelation 21 shift to focus on the New Jerusalem. It’s a stunning description of the new city of God. The vision is symbolic and shows that the believers’ new home with God will not be disappointing in the least.

In episode 60, Sam Francart continues the study in the book of Revelation, with a focus on Revelation 21:1-8. This is the place in Revelation where we get to talk about the new heaven and the new earth. This is the beauty and the glory that we’ve been longing for. There’s a shift between the first 8 verses and the end of the chapter, so this episode will cover verses 1-8 and next episode will cover the remainder of the chapter.

In episode 59, Sam Francart continues the study in the book of Revelation, with a focus on Revelation 20:1-15. This is the only place in the entire Bible that specifically names the one thousand year reign, which is crazy to me. There are arguments around different views of the millennium. Maybe you’ve heard of pre-millennial, amillennial, and post-millennial; maybe you haven’t. In this podcast, we’ll talk about these three positions, we’ll see where else in the Bible we read about what happens during the millennial reign, and we’ll study the rest of chapter 20!

In episode 55, Sam Francart continues the study in the book of Revelation, with a focus on Revelation 18:1-24. Last episode we studied chapter 17, which described Babylon. This chapter describes the destruction - how it occurred and how it affected the people. First, in verses 1-8, an angel proclaimed judgment on Babylon. Then, in verses 9-10, the rulers of the world lament the destruction of the city, then in verses 11-16 the merchants lament and finally, in verses 18-20 the ship owners lament. The chapter ends with praise, and we’ll dig into why that is in this episode!

In episode 53, Sam Francart continues the study in the book of Revelation, with a focus on Revelation 17:1-18. The destruction of Babylon mentioned in 16:17-21 and 14:8 is now described in greater detail.
