After a strange summer and fall, we are back on track. Since we have lost our female voice actors, we are moving on to the next play in the book; perhaps some other day we shall circle back and do "Two Gentlemen of Verona." For now, we have started "The Merry Wives of Windsor." We do hope you enjoy it.

Well we managed to stay on schedule for another week, and recorded the next act of Two Gentlemen of Verona. Again we have special guests with us, Shade's sister, EJ, and his Mother, Steph, are performing exquisite mental gymnastics as they read multiple parts, sometimes as the whole scene is themselves. It is quite the fun little 45 minutes or so. 

We have some special guests reading with us for this play, well at least for this episode - okay, so perhaps for a few episodes, at least until as long as the pandemic holdouts in the US.

This is a quick act which begins to bring the characters together. Propero looms in the background, working his magic. While the others continue to follow the arch of their development.

A host of new characters are introduced, inciting a minor schizophrenia as Shade & N8 attempt to portray them all. The voices for characters get mixed up a little in the scuffle but we do at least say the name of the character before they speak.

This is the beginning of the play and the beginning of the podcast. There is a long section of Prospero begin established not only as a principal character in the play, but a powerful noble who prefers to self-quarantine in a library of books. Shade and I take turns reading the lines without real regard to characters. It's all fun but also educational.
