There is no such thing as a "lone ranger" Christian.  Because we are connected with Christ we automatically become a part of his body...the church.  One of Paul's favorite metaphors for the church is comparing it with a human body...but what exactly does it mean to belong to a "body" of believers?

The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us to worship Jesus, but how exactly does he do that?  If our worship is going to be Spirit-led, what will that look like?

Christ is at the center of our worship!  It's all about Jesus...but why?  Why does Christian worship center on Jesus, and how exactly does one go about exalting Jesus anyway?

Suffering surrounds us and invades all of our lives. In the face of such pain, hurt, and loss, how can we worship a God who claims to be all powerful and all good? Where is God in the midst of such tragedy? These are real, gritty questions that every Christian wrestles with when pain enters their life or the lives of those they love. In John 11, Mary and Martha wrestle with these same emotions and questions. Their struggle doesn't provide us with pretty answers to our questions, but it does point us to our ultimate hope...Jesus.

As we they body of Christ gathers for weekly worship, we devote a significant portion of our time to the reading, teaching, and preaching of Scripture. We center ourselves on the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word...but why?  Why is Scripture so central to our corporate worship?

When it comes to the body of Christ worshipping together we know that we are not supposed to be spectators...we should be full-fledged participators!  But what does it mean to participate in worship? If I sing the songs, listen to the sermon, take notes, pray, receive communion, share a testimony, etc. does that make me a participator? Scripture claims that true worship participation is not a matter of outward actions, but of internal affection (Matthew 15:8). So how do we pursue participation in worship that comes from the very core of our being? How does our heart participate in worship?

All of life is worship. We were created to glorify God by worshipping/loving/enjoying him. That is our identity, worshippers.
