A differently angled discussion on the subject of self-worth. You see, I did not see myself as having issues with that, not for a long time. I felt like my self-worth was quite intact... until I looked at it from a different vantage point.
I realized that I did feel compelled to "prove" my value to others by fulfilling a practical role and being useful. It is a more subtle aspect of self-worth and self-acceptance, and it was quite surprising when I came across this deeply ingrained feeling within myself.
It has some pretty huge repercussions throughout all of my interpersonal relationships, and it is an important realization and emotional avenue to explore.
Join me as I explain how I came to this realization and share some of my thoughts and musings on this subject!
