Nck sits down with Ryan and Doza to talk about the San Pedro lifestyle, learning how to play guitar and being involved in different scenes. They also chat about Band Aparte's new recordings, their love for the I.E. and Ricky from Sashcloth & Axes makes a cameo. This is one of the hardest working bands out there grinding away in Los Angeles today and it was a fun time interviewing the homies in Band Aparte. (Even if we had to try 3 different places and we ended up crammed in a Subaru for this interview.

In a garage in the I.E. we sit down and talk with Ricky from Sashcloth and Axes. ?He talks about his bleak HB upbringing how he got into synth music from starting off on piano and drums. Ricky talks about his side projects record label and his new job title.

Nck talks with the band about learning how to use an MPC live, having to tour the States since they live in Vancouver. But the band is also happy staying and living in Vancouver.They chat about Britney's  teaching job at a democratic school. And they are just figuring out how their band can transform into a more beat driven "techno outfit"

Nick&Zak talk with the band about how you have to be in a multidimensional state of mind when recording an album that spans over multiple time zones from two different parts of the globe. And how rad this project turned out to be. They also highlighted some stories from their recent west coast tour, and talked about how they couldn't have accomplished this album and tour if it wasn't for the labels putting faith in them and a certain few individuals in the Bay Area for helping them out.
