    Daughter of Grand Ole Opry Star George Morgan (“Candy Kisses”), Lorrie Morgan spent every weekend of her childhood in the wings of the Opry House observing the craft of country's finest and brightest.  She was one of the breakout stars of the country boom period in the late 80s, scoring numerous hits and awards. And, you better believe she has stories to share.  She was married to country legend Keith Whitley up until his tragic death and later married and divorced country star Sammy Kershaw. Lorrie was also managed by Shady Lady Susan Nadler who likes to credit Lorrie for encouraging her love of country music and playing pranks on people.  Beyond her music career, Lorrie and her husband own Lorrie Morgan’s Spicy Hot Chicken Coop in Panama City Beach.

    Frontman for the incredible and versatile band The Mavericks, Raul Malo has known the Shady Ladies since he moved to Nashville from  Miami 30 years ago. Through the incredibly journey that is The Mavericks' career, Raul and the Shady Ladies have worked together on side projects: producing a two-disc Spanish children’s album for Bandit Records, performing as the first artist for the revived and revered Soundstage music series on PBS and many other moments of madness!
