Trusting God is non-negotiable-Because-Man is weak but God is almighty-Man is selfish but God is good-Man is often faithless and deceitful but God never forgets His promises-Man's help is limited but God's help has no limits-

Psalm 110 is about Jesus-----He is enthroned at God's right hand.----He is advancing His kingdom.----He is transforming His people.----He is both King and Priest.----He has a day of wrath.

David faced a dreadful situation in Psalm 109.----What can we learn from the way David responded to his situation-

Jesus cares for His people individually. This is manifested in two ways-----He know the peculiar condition of each of His sheep.----He has a personal relationship with each of His sheep.

Because we are slaves of sin, we are captives of satan and in bondage to the law.----We need to be delivered from sin, satan and law.----Redemption is achieved not only by power but also by paying a price.

God reminding His people who He is in this psalm.----He is mercy and truth.--He is all powerful.--He is not dead but alive.--He is our help and shield.--He bless those who fear Him.--He owns everything.

The Lord's acts of loyal love - divine providence.----We should meditate on His divine providence because---a. it is our duty--b. it gives us strength and comfort--c. it reminds us God is in control----And the goal of such meditation is that we may be wise and not despair.
