Hello hello and welcome back to another episode of ReikiCafe Radio! This week we are going to be diving into the differences between a Shamanic Reiki Session and a Shamanic Journey. ReikiCafe University will be hosting a Shamanic Journey Training over the summer, and one of the primary questions we get asked is: What exactly is a Shamanic Journey? And how is it different than Shamanic Reiki?

Shamanic Reiki sessions are similar to Traditional Reiki sessions, holding the space for the client's body to begin the healing process. Where traditional Reiki sessions require the practitioner to 'get out of the way', Shamanic Reiki sessions require the practitioner to have a more active role in the healing process.

Shamanic journeys are different entirely- they rely on the practitioner's ability to travel to different Shamanic Realms and retrieve information based on an intention set by the client. These journeys often reveal answers through symbolism and need to be analyzed for the truth to be fully received.

In all, Shamanic Reiki sessions are heavily hands on, working with the Spirit Team to remove obstructions from the body, complete soul retrievals, and work with the clients body to allow healing. Shamanic Journeys are more intention based, using spiritual sight to travel to another realm and obtain clarity on a specific question.
