Our game show expert Jason Block checked in this morning to talk about the game shows that have returned to production in a COVID-19 world.
Here are a few notes Jason took among the shows he discusses with the big show this morning:
Jason also notes that because of travel restrictions, all contestants reside in California where the shows are taped.
Brad Blanks took some time to chat with Bethenny Frankel, one of the stars of the “The Real Housewives of New York City!

Bethenny shared her story with Brad & talked about her new podcast called “Just B with Bethenny Frankel.”
She interviews smart and successful people like Mark Cuban, Dana White and even Paris Hilton and asks tough questions!
On the Columbus Day edition of the big show, we talk about drama in the world of Phil Collins as he tries to evict one of his ex wives from his mansion.
Problem is, she changed the locks!

Brad Blanks talked to one of the youngest movie producers ever!
Tre Peart was 8 years old when he helped adapt his favorite children’s book, "The War with Grandpa," into a movie starring Robert De Niro and Uma Thurman!

Emmy Award-winning actor, writer, director and producer Henry Winkler joined the big show to talk about his latest projects!
We loved him as the Fonz on “Happy Days” back in the day and now we love him as Gene on the HBO hit “Barry.”
“Barry” starring Henry & Bill Hader has been renewed for a season 3, but production has not started because of COVID-19.
“Maybe we’re going back in February” Henry says about resuming production on Season 3, and he doesn’t mince words when it comes to the love for his castmates.
“All of the actors, we text together, we miss each other and we can’t wait to get back.”
Henry is also a best-selling author!
“Lights, Camera, Danger!” is the 2nd book in Henry’s New York Times best-selling “Alien Superstar” series available now everywhere!
The book features alien “Buddy Burger” and we are introduced to “Citizen Cruel,” a shape-shifting Squadron member sent from Buddy’s home planet to bring him back by any means necessary.
Today on the big show we remembered the incredible life of Eddie Van Halen, who passed away October 6th after a long battle with throat cancer.

The Big Show has a history with the Bradshaw family.
Brad Blanks talks to NFL legend Terry Bradshaw often & Terry had a memorable interview with the big show not too long ago.
Brad talked to Terry earlier this year at the Super Bowl about his new reality show “The Bradshaw Bunch” which at the time was just green-lit by E!
Terry mentions how his daughters think they will become “the Kardashians of the south.”
Fast forward 7 months and here we are! The Kardashians are going off the air and “The Bradshaw Bunch” is a hit!
This time, Brad talked to Rachel Bradshaw, who’s looking for love on the E! reality show.
Rachel is one of Terry Bradshaw’s daughters featured on the show, along with her sister Erin and their step-sister Lacey.
The show is set on Terry’s Oklahoma ranch along with his wife Tammy and the daughters.
Brad talked to Rachel about the success of the show, replacing the Kardashians, looking for love and much more.
She’s also a singer who is releasing an EP at the end of the season of “The Bradshaw Bunch.” The recording process was documented all through season 1.
The big reveal: Rachel tells Brad she’s recording a Christmas song with her dad!
"The Bradshaw Bunch" airs Thursday night's at 9pm on E!
Patty Steele was emotional on the big show this morning, sharing the news that her loving dog Maggie passed away suddenly this past Friday morning.
Maggie was 13 and a half years old.
It happened right after Patty got off the air Friday morning, Maggie was chasing a toy when she suddenly collapsed and was died.
Patty's daughter Kate screamed "call the police" as an instant reaction to what had just happened.
Maggie was born within an hour after Patty's father died so she was a great great love. She was there for her through her cancer battle and says it was the same as losing a friend.
Happy Friday!
The big show break of the day involves the wacky trailer for Borat 2, Brad's new dog taking his place on the bed (and his wife loving it) and President Trump & First Lady Melania testing positive for COVID-19.
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jon Bon Jovi did not foresee 2020 playing out the way it has. Jon was set to release his highly anticipated album “Bon Jovi 2020” this past May, but the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to that.
What came out of the delay is a pandemic anthem “Do What You Can,” conceived when Jon’s wife Dorothea posted a photo of him on Instagram washing dishes at one of his JBJ Soul Kitchens, and a reinvented album paying witness to the events of this historic year.
The photo caption of the Instagram post said “If You Can’t Do What You Do… Do What You Can” & that inspired Jon to complete a heartfelt anthem in a short amount of time.
About “Do What You Can,” Jon says “The next day when I woke up I said well there’s a big old Bon Jovi song title and I wrote the song.”
A lot of Jon’s 2020 inspiration comes from his philanthropic work with his JBJ Soul Kitchens, where the need for food reached alarming levels during the height of the pandemic. Things got so bad, he needed to ensure his pantries had food and built a food bank.
“We had to out of dire need open an honest to god food bank” Jon says, “the need was a multiple of 6, 7 of what was the usual.”
On “Bon Jovi 2020,” Jon says he had to take a step back and watch what was happening.
“This year’s been like any other, certainly in modern history” he says, “when I realized my position as a writer was to be nothing more than a witness to history.”
And he insists he didn't write the album for him:
“These weren’t fictional characters like Tommy & Gina” he says, “this was real events happening in around all of our lives, so I wrote a whole record about it.”
