This episode is a heart opener for those of us who have never experienced true safety in our bodies, and our environments. The kind of love and safety that disarms us and cradles us into sweet transformation, from rock to water, from fire to wind. Apologies for two mispronunciations. Sharm el Sheik (should be pronounced Sharm el *Shake) and the name Mahmoud should be pronounced Mah-*mood). Please listen with an open heart and it is our deepest prayer that you are feeling safe and precious in every way imaginable Remember to like, share, and review! We use this closing episode of 2021 to honor bell hooks and be vulnerable about love and all our messy attempts to define it.
A continuation from last week's talk on our human dynamics. This week we dive into our spiritual relationships!
This episode sits with listeners in the awkward space of changing and growing while maintaining relationships. We don't all evolve at the same pace. How can we center our joy in the shifting and renegotiating of our relationships as we grow and change? We hope you are enjoying this season so far! Make sure to share, review, subscribe and share your feedback with us! We are an independent Black woman sustained force of nature and we'd love and value your support in all forms!
This episode, Thea outlines the intention of this season and shares some of the re-Sources and natural/spiritual laws that will guide this seasons work on Shaping The Shift. As always bring your pens and pads and don't forget to review, like, share, and of course… BREATHE
Much about this moment in time is a question of character. It is as though the natural world is demanding every nation, society, city, family, and individual to answer a single question: WHO ARE YOU?
~Thea Monyeé
This question is at the core of what is here now and what's to come. It's a touchstone we can come back to over and over again from moment to moment. *When I feel restricted, who am I? *When I feel threatened, who am I? *When I feel out of control, who am I? *When I see people in need, who am I? *When I am asked to share, who am I? *When I am asked to be of service, who am I? *When a situation requires patience, who am I? *When I am asked to release, who am I? *When I am afraid, who am I? *When asked to love more than I thought was humanly possible, who am I? There will be challenging moments. They aren't random, they aren't without purpose. They are micro-miracle-mirror moments creating an opportunity to ask a question we avoid asking daily. Who am I? There's no wrong answer. Only super useful information. ~Thea Monyee March 25, 2020

Hey, #shiftshapers!
This week, we're asking you to join us on a journey of reflection and celebration!
Since we've been doing it big all month long in honor of STS's one-year anniversary, we thought it would be fun to take you all the way back to when it first started.
A year ago, STS creator and host @theamonyee took a gigantic, visible step forward by launching the podcast that you know and love!
What started as a podcast about change and uncertainty for dreamers and creatives is really more than just that.
Shaping the Shift is a mouthpiece for MARLEYAYO, the creative wellness consulting company Thea founded with the goal to actively support and create tools to reverse the adverse effects of colonization and enslavement by liberating marginalized people around the globe through joy, pleasure, creativity, and intentional decolonization.
"Our vision is to create and nurture a multi-dimensional organism that prioritizes the reintegration of spirit and liberation through education, entertainment, consulting, and land stewardship."
-Thea Monyeé
