When Things No Longer Have Value" involves the sharing of a profound message written by Crisda Rodriquez who was a renowned designer and author who died at the age of 40 from stomach cancer after being diagnosed less than a year prior to her death. She wanted others to know as she was transitioning from life to death that all the things she had accumulated and accomplished in life meant nothing and served her no purpose.  Her focus was on her soul's salvation and being in a place of readiness with God. This episode "Connecting With Ashley Smith's Journey" is a continuation of Ashley's journey from her previous episode in May 2024 "Crushing The Spirit of Depression."   Although diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar and depression, she fights to manage her life as well as her son's life.  She learned early that writing and providing services to others with mental health issues have been therapeutic in maintaining her own mental stability.  This episode highlights her achievements, her struggles and hope as she journeys through life.

This unique author's workbook provides effective approaches on how to develop a rough draft at lightning speed, filled with practical tips for upcoming non-fiction authors whose aim is to gain insight on the best writing styles to tackling book development. 

This episode is titled "Her Life, Her Journey, Her Calling" is with reference to India Boston-Johnson, an amazing, and impressive 31year old who was born to a 14-year-old mother and found herself giving birth to her first born at the age of 18. She understands the importance and significance of having a strong support network when you find yourself in such a situation. Because her family did not abandon her or her mother, she has committed her life to paying it forward by assisting other young parents, both fathers and mothers in their journey.  

She created a non-profit program over two years ago called "Empowering Young Parents, Inc." that provides resources, guidance, life-skills and encouragements.
