She knows the impact grants give to philanthropic organizations and as a result, those organizations can create change and positively impact so many.

Throughout her career, Dana has helped nonprofits secure over $50 million in funding. She recently received the Outstanding Professional Fundraiser Award from the Northeast Oklahoma Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

This interview will share more about Dana’s background, including some surprising side-hustles that include hosting a semi-weekly podcast and singing in a local rock band. It will also share her family ties to a well-known gangster and why she is thankful for the philanthropy that her family received several generations ago.

Traci Manuel dedicates countless hours and a lot of heart to creating and presenting interesting content that will engage and inspire young minds in the learning process. If you’re wondering why she does this, it’s because of the career she has chosen. Manuel is a Tenth Grade English II Teacher at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa Public Schools (TPS). Her incredible heart for teaching and inspiring has caught the attention of many (including me – she taught my son!)  and recently, she was nominated among twelve teachers across the state for 2023 Teacher of the Year. In addition to the ever-high demands and long hours, the pay is low. So, why does Manuel teach? You’ll find out about that and so much more, including her advice for those considering a career in teaching.

It was her love of the entertainment industry that gave Jody McIntyre the courage to move to Los Angeles at a young age and work hard to land a job for a well-known television and movie production company. After months of working to land a job there, she took an entry-level position. Not where she wanted to be, but she knew that job would get her foot in the door and she would have the opportunity to demonstrate her strong work-ethic. That proved to be a great decision as she worked her way into other roles where she excelled. Her time in Studio City added up to over twenty-five years before she returned to her favorite city, Tulsa, to raise her kids. In this visit, you’ll learn how Jody’s life has come full circle, including more about her time in the entertainment industry in California, working as a local television producer for the past eighteen years and her excitement about her new role at the Circle Cinema.
