Welcome to a new segment of Shashank Vs. The World called "Literally Everything". This is a new segment where I sit down with my friends Sumanth Gopal, Eli Jacobs, and Ivan Li and talk about, well, literally everything.

Rachel Elizabeth Moran is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for an Informed Public at the University of Washington’s Information School. She received her doctoral degree from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalist at the University of Southern California. Her research explores the role of trust in digital information environments and is particularly concerned with how trust is implicated in the spread of mis- and disinformation. Her research has been published in Information, Communication & Society, Digital Journalism, Journalism Practice, Media, Culture & Society and Telecommunications Policy. She has a BA and an MA in Social and Political Science from Cambridge University and an MA in Political Communications from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is also a Fellow at the George Washington University’s Institute for Data, Democracy & Politics
Rohit Srinivasan is one of the founders of Trashbots, an education technology company that develops a STEM education platform for K-12. He is currently a Junior at the University of Texas studying Mechanical Engineering and Liberal Arts through the Plan II honors program. As a result of many years of teaching STEM and robotics to 1000s of kids across the US, Peru. Mexico, and India, Rohit is passionate about education and the capabilities to make it accessible on a global basis to every nook and corner of the world. Within the startup, he drives hardware development, plastics in particular, as well as manages fulfillment through a global supply chain. In addition, he frequently serves as pitchman for the company to investors and public events. Outside of work, Rohit is an avid runner and enjoys reading world history and watching World War 2 movies.After graduating from UT, Rohit aspires to work on delivering products as an entrepreneur that can lead to enormous societal impact.
Sidharth Srinivasan is one of the founders of Trashbots, an education technology company that develops a STEM education platform for K-12. He is currently on a gap year from Stanford University. As a result of many years of teaching STEM and robotics to 1000s of kids across the US, Peru. Mexico, and India, Sidharth is passionate about education and the capabilities to make it accessible on a global basis to every nook and corner of the world. Within the startup, he focuses on software development and has developed much of the iOS and Android app used with the product. He also drives marketing initiatives and leads curriculum development to make learning easy and fun for students. Outside of work, Sidharth is very into music, and sings with a Stanford a cappella group and Conspirare in Austin and plays the guitar, piano, and ukulele. He hopes to graduate with degrees in Computer Science and Bio-engineering and continue to pursue a career as an entrepreneur in the education arena.

Raymond Lo is the software evangelist at Intel focusing on the OpenVINO toolkit. Previously, Raymond was the founder and CTO of Y Combinator-backed augmented reality company Meta, the technology evangelist for Samsung NEXT, and Technical Solutions Consultant for Google Cloud AI. During his PhD, Raymond worked with Prof Steve Mann, who is widely recognized as the father of wearable computing from MIT Media Lab. Together they published numerous of research papers on the topic of GPGPUs, open-source HDR videos, and open-source wearable computing projects in the University of Toronto. In 2013, Raymond took his augmented reality (AR) eyeglasses invention and functional prototype from Toronto and co-founded Meta that raised over $80 million for their pioneering development of augmented reality eyeglasses. As the CTO of Meta, he successfully developed and shipped Meta 1 and Meta 2 with a team of over 150+ people. As the executive and Evangelist, he had the opportunity to speak at conferences such as TED talk, SIGGRAPH, Tencent WE Summit, and Hello Tomorrow. His unique combination of startup entrepreneurship and enterprise experiences helped Raymond to create connections to hundreds of startups and thousands of developers around the world.
Geraint F. Lewis is a Welsh Astrophysicist. He’s best known for his work on dark energy, gravitation lensing, and galactic cannibalism. He’s a professor of Astrophysics at the Sydney Institute of Astronomy, part of the University of Sydney's school of Physics. He’s a teacher, an author, and science communicator. He has over 400 papers in International refereed journals.
