Someone get this man a new toothbrush! Just kidding, you will understand later why that's the name of the episode. Taylor Williams is a good friend of mine that coaches with us, but his golf game is terrible. He came up here to coach with Gainesville from Mary Persons where he was the QB coach. We talk about his inspirations for coaching, 3 different offenses in 3 years, setting records and more.
Taylor is a former quarterback at Wingate University, and QB coach/passing game coordinator at Mary Persons. Taylor is married to Lauren (not my Lauren, his Lauren) and they have 2 dogs.
Today's episode features the Middle Tennessee State University Strength and Conditioning Coordinator: Matt Hickmann. We had an awesome time chewing the fat on weight lifting, lifting too early, and how COVID-19 has impacted his teams schedule this year. Below is his bio from MTSU and you can find him on Instagram and Facebook. Just Search Coach Hickmann.
Matt Hickmann begins his third year on Rick Stockstill’s staff as the football programs head strength and conditioning coach.
MY BOSS! Our principal Jamie Green sits down with me to discuss growing up all over the world, and how he got into rugby! Growing up he was a "footballer" or soccer player, but about the age of 8 he became a fan of rugby (by persuasion). Nearly 30 years later, Jamie was still playing the sport he loved. We talk about great rugby stories, Outlander, The Crown, and the story of the old dude in red shorts. Please make sure you subscribe, and tell 3 friends!

We have probably our most decorated guest, especially our first ever from a professional standpoint on with us today. 1973 Masters Champion Tommy Aaron joined us for a sit down interview at his home several weeks ago. I would like to thank Tommy again for such a great time and sharing some very cool stories with all of us!
Here is a sample of his Wikipedia page:
Aaron turned pro in 1960. His first professional victory came at the 1969 Canadian Open. Although the event is historically considered a PGA Tour event it was not that year. The following year he gained his first PGA Tour victory at the Atlanta Classic. In 1972, he won the Trophée Lancôme in France. Aaron's best money year was 1972, when he finished in ninth place on the PGA Tour money list.
Aaron won the Masters Tournament in 1973, which was his one major championship. He also finished in the top ten at the Masters from 1967 to 1970. His only other top ten major championship finishes came at the PGA Championship in 1965 and 1972. In 2000, he made the cut at the Masters at the age of 63, breaking a record previously held by Gary Player.
Aaron played for the U.S. team in the Ryder Cup in 1969 and 1973, and had a record of one win, one tie and four losses.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Aaron played on the Senior PGA Tour, winning $3,646,302. The 1992 Kaanapali Classic was his last professional win.
Aaron was a student of golf instructor Manuel de la Torre.
