Coach Henson is a good friend of mine and we discuss a lot about his work and the work of the board to collect information on the Georgia Olympians. Most of these people haven't been recognized properly and Coach Henson is trying to change that. Take a history lesson on this one folks!

This week my guests are Chuck Graham and Michael Thurmond. Graham is the men's basketball coach at Gainesville HS and Thurmond is the new head coach at Lanier Christian Academy for men's basketball as well. We have a great time talking about their inspirations and their hardships, as well as a little Gainesville basketball about the man, Jerry Davis (no relation). Thurmond is also a full time minister at Free Chapel here in Gainesville. 

On this episode of SHNP, I have TWO guests on for the first time. Matt Pogue who is the Co-OC and OL/TE coach at Dublin HS in Georgia and Nate Mathis from Walker Valley HS in Tennessee. Mathis is the DL coach and S&C coordinator for Walker Valley High School. Nate and Matt were roommates at LaGrange College. We actually had to pause in the middle of this episode because my daughter tore into the Vaseline bottle which was a nice mess but made this episode enjoyable.
