Many people feel that they are so powerful. For some, it takes a global pandemic for them to realize the limit of their power. But this isn’t the Way of the Believer. This isn’t the realization that we should have. We must get rid of our false conviction to our own personal power. We can do nothing except through the Ultimate Power of Allah SWT.

And so, I want to share with you a teaching, as described by the Beloved Prophet ﷺ as a Treasure among the Treasures under the Throne of Allah.

And we ask Almighty Allah SWT to Connect us to Him and to the Noble Messenger ﷺ of Allah.

The solidarity of our community has always been strong and committed, particularly in times when the needs of the congregation were the greatest. We have always worked towards our mission of ‘welcoming home’ all Muslims from all walks of life; to Care for Humanity, One Soul at a Time. With the current challenges of COVID-19, persisting as a congregation is more important now than ever. Your Masjid needs your help in this time of great strife.

The Islamic Forum of Canada is asking you, as someone we hold to be part of our family, to support your Masjid – your home, in a massive effort to help keep our lights on. This time has proven to be challenging for our Masjid to subsist, especially with a loss of our foundational donation stream from every Friday Jumu’ah. People, throughout history, have declared to know when the end of time will come. But these were blank statements, for only Allah SWT Knows when the End will arrive. The Sahabbahs came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and asked the same question. Usually Rasulullah ﷺ would answer in the same way, but this time he responded differently.

Shaykh Faisal Abdur-Razak and the Islamic Forum of Canada Presents: The Qur'an Project

In the late '90s, Bosnian refugees came to Canada looking for shelter during the Bosnian conflict. Shaykh Faisal went to greet them and welcome them, to show them support and solidarity on behalf of Canadian Muslims.
