I have a serious question to ask? Is keeping an opposite sex as a friend before committing to a serious relationship debatable. As a mate do you require them to remove said friend if it seems to threaten the relationship.

Speaking from experience, having a blended family can be challenging if one of the parents doesn't agree with the arrangements.
