In the past two weeks, some interesting affairs have happened so I wanted to discuss them with you such as practising history taking, fit testing and a surprise gift! As of January, I'll be going on placements so, hopefully, the podcasts will get more interesting then.

I'm taking a new approach where every week I reflect on the important parts of my week and try and consolidate what I learnt so I can share it with you. 

The highlights of this week were:
- finishing my lectures (woo)
- a clinical skills session on cannulas and blood taking
- doing my first teaching session

I guess this podcast is relevant because the past month I've kind of been in a rut and this is a great time to almost not only console you but myself about how to get myself back on track. I had recorded this about a month ago and it still applies today. Let's look into productivity in terms of time management and setting healthy boundaries together!

Here's an episode about how to write reflectively (journaling). We go through the step by step process of how to reconsolidate your thoughts in order to help yourselves develop your response if you're faced with this situation again. I am no expert! I'm still learning. But this method works for me, so I hope it helps!

In this podcast, my best friend and I will be talking about imposter syndrome that we have experienced ourselves and how it had affected us seeing it in others too. This is quite a personal podcast for both of us and we hope that you all can relate and reflect on your experiences with us too!

I get a lot of questions about the difference between the different types of curriculums different medical schools use and I thought to do a couple of episodes on this. This one: Spiral! I thought to start with the one I know about and am doing myself! Enjoy my burger analogy and please don't hate the layers aha!

Hello and welcome to the first episode of season 2 where we actually start talking about medical school! Freshers is the time in which you start integrating into university so I thought it would be a good place to start. The opinions and experiences explained within this podcast are completely my own and am sharing this in order to provide an insight of what it was like for me. Others may agree or disagree, your own experience might be completely different. However, I thought it was right for my own to be heard as some may relate or learn from it.

Here is a cute little episode where mum and I criticise the pressure put on young people to do STEM subjects within our (Persian) community and I hear my mum's opinion on it. It's half in Farsi and half in English to represent the Persian in me (even though she isn't aha!).  

My sixth form was a little different to others but I am sure the experiences and stories my friends and I had there can be replicated elsewhere too. I'm sorry if this isn't very well-spoken, I didn't have much time to plan this!
