What we say matters.
How we say it matters, and sometimes… without meaning to, we cause harm to others with our communication.
We can attack others, cast judgment, and make demands, unintentionally.
This week's guest, Cindy Zody, is going to help us understand how to make a paradigm shift when it comes to our language as we dive into the principles of Non-Violent Communication.
There is a way to communicate more clearly, all you need is the right tools and a healthy dose of self-awareness.
We talk about:
Non-Violent Communication makes you more at ease within yourself, causes less arguments, less regret, and gives you a framework for being more empathetic towards self and others.

"Thanks for your purchase! Can we get your feedback!?"
We are asked for our feedback left and right. We're also giving it unknowingly more often than we think.
When it comes to receiving it, why can it sometimes be so difficult? Of course, we all WANT feedback to do better, grow, and be the best humans we can be... but at the same time, wouldn't it be nice if someone could just pat us on the back and tell us, "All good!"?
Maybe if they just delivered it the bad news to us sandwiched between all the positive stuff (the Oreo cookie technique)?
Today's guest, Sheila Heen will share the unique difficulty around receiving feedback; why this conversation can be so difficult whether you're a giver of it or a receiver.

Cue the Katy Perry: Baby, you're a firework.
Not trying to be cliche or cheesy here, but seriously... YOU are the firework in your business and when you figure out the marketing technique that really lights you up, you can ignite the fire in others as well.
My guest Cat Stancik shares about the marketing techniques that really grind her gears and what to do instead. You know the ones: fake scarcity, manipulation, fear-based approaches, and aggressive tactics.
How can you create an organic marketing strategy focused on YOUR strengths? The secret is in FIREWORK Experiences.
Experiences that make your prospects and leads say, "WHOA" and then tell all their friends about it.
If you're ready to re-think marketing and are a clapping hands emoji to all things anti-sleaze, this episode is for you!
