While the world was busy making noise and watching two white men fight for power in the US, yet again — we thought it was important to take the attention off the repetitive “men in power” narrative and focus on the women in politics who are changing the world. So today we wanted to put the spotlight on some of those women who are changing the world.

LGBTQ+ representation in films and TV are few and far between. Which is why gays everywhere were pretty excited when they heard that Happiest Season, an LGBTQ+ Christmas movie featuring two gay women, was coming out. No pun intended. But even though we’re excited to have a queer Christmas film, we do have a few opinions on it and wonder if the movie could have better represented a queer couple in 2020.
