Our Friday Coffee Talk episodes are a time for Danielle and I chat about anything and everything. We are so happy this community enjoys hearing us talk about things that often get discussed at a coffee shop, the things you tell your girlfriends. Today we're chatting about loneliness. We chat about loneliness in college, after college, being a newlywed and moving away, and how we've learned to deal with those feelings. We also briefly chat about friendship and loneliness thanks to the military. These two topics are future Friday coffee talk chats!

Amanda is the creator and designer behind Amanda Day Rose, a wedding & occasion paperie shop.  She is also the editor-in-chief of Scoutie Girl, a virtual place to find creative inspiration.

In our interview, Amanda talks about going from the corporate world of marketing to being a full-time small business owner.  She shares a bit about the re-branding she did, how she came to be editor-in-chief of Scoutie Girl, and how she balances her time between work and play.

Today we're chatting about comparison. There is so much we love about social media and the online world, but the comparison game that comes with it is not our favorite. It's so easy to see what someone posts on Instagram/Facebook/Blog and think their life is perfect. You only see what they put in the little square. You see a tidy organized desk, when in reality one corner is tidy and the rest looks like hurricane harry struck.

Erika is the writer and creator behind rouge & whimsy.  Her shop is a modern take on handmade: the creativity of craft with a dose of practicality. Her blog is a space where Erika gets real, she shares her thoughts and in every post you really feel like Erika is speaking from the heart.  Erika has a full time corporate job she loves and her nights and weekends are spent making rouge & whimsy a beautiful reality.  Erika said it best in her interview, "If someone has a passion for something you will make time for it!"

Today's She Percolates episode is all about self-doubt. We're chatting about how self-doubt gets in the way of ideas and dreams.  Opportunities that have passed because our self-doubt crept in, how we get past the self-doubt and how She Percolates was a project Jen kept pursuing despite having self-doubt. This episode was inspired by a post Jen shared on the shepercolates instagram.  You can see the comments our community left on the photo here.  The shared vulnerability  was a reminder that we all feel self-doubt.

Taylor is the regional distributor for CeCe Caldwells Paints for the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Hawaii.  She manages DearOlympia.com, an online retail shop that sells CeCe Caldwells Paints and hand painted home decor signs. The brand Dear Olympia is all about being bold and creative, supporting fellow military spouses + milspouse entrepreneurs and being a positive force in the local community. Taylor and her family currently live on the island of Oahu.
