First of all, my husband just told me it’s called Emily in Paris because you’re supposed to say it like “Em-i-ly in Par-rhee” like the French would say it. Love that. Hate this show. It’s so bad. But we prevail. Basically all of the reasons why Emily is a dumb dumb, Sylvie is annoying, and Gabriel is the worst. #TeamAlfieDeservesBetter

Look… this is really long. I read a lot of books and I had a lot to say and honestly, I’m not sorry. Such a full reading month! I mentioned a terrible book from December and talk about a ton of books I DNFed. I go on a slightly long tangent about parenting and cleaning, and I finally read Verity. Grab a snack. A fun test to see just how well I know myself! I picked out 22 books that I plan to read during 2022 that I hope for one reason or another will be a five star read. We’ll see how well I do!

Did I finish the challenge this year? No. But that’s okay because as always, I feel like this challenge helps me branch out with my reading and it’s a super fun way to discover new books! 49/50 prompts isn’t the worst though.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Not Christmas, the 2022 PopSugar Reading Challenge was released, hooray! This list brings me so much joy every year because if there’s anything I love more than books, it’s making a list of books. I love diving into these prompts and finding books I love that will fit them. Try the challenge! It’s great fun.

I have a goal to read the backlists of my favorite authors, whether I just stumbled on them recently or they’ve been my favorite since high school. The problem is that I also want to re-read all of the books I have already read of theirs because I have a goldfish brain. So I will likely read all the same books I have already read and then run out of time in the year to read any of the books I haven’t read yet, thus perpetuating the cycle. It’s fine. I will never not have a massive TBR. I know this. You should by now too.
