I’ve never been good at meditation or anything that requires sitting still for long periods of time but, lately, my new practice has been 'seven minute meditations.' This week, I talk about what happened when I tried to meditate and share the feelings that came up when I finally made time to sit and listen to myself. We discuss the idea of being enough, our lives being the perfect springboard to dive into ourselves, and how to practically find our own truths hidden beneath the layers. Using this example, we also explore the reasons as to why it's so important to find your support system in family, friendships, and other relationships. Where do we find the strength to throw away the mask and be ourselves? We explore all the wonderful paradoxes that come with being human and how we can live as our authentic selves.
