She Walks In Purpose

In Season 2, we are digging into His (God's) Purposes. Episode 1 is all about laying a foundation to grasp what scripture tells us about God's purpose in the creation of man and in sending His Son, Jesus Christ to us over 2000 years ago. Jodi will dive into the Word and also share how she is learning how to live in His purpose in her every day life.

And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:17-20 (ESV)

As Jodi is pulling together Season 2 for She Walks In Purpose she wanted to share a 'sneak peak' of what Season 2 will entail.  Jodi shares the foundational scriptures for Season 2 entitled 'His Purpose,' they are 1 Corinthians 1:26, Ephesians 4:1, & Psalm 51:12.  She also shares that she is adding a video component through her YouTube Channel, She Walks In Purpose.  There she will be posting videos of each podcast and most likely more to come as well.

What does it mean to walk in purpose as a Jesus follower? A follower of Jesus must first recognize that the denial of self is a vital aspect of knowing whose you are and knowing faith is not my own and yet must be exercised. Faith is recognizing that God's presence is incomprehensible and yet the place of ultimate freedom and peace. In a mission to share what God desires of His children in their daily lives, Jodi Sell-Grove desires to share what life is like when one chooses to 'walk in His presence and live a life of abundance.'

In the final episode of Season 1 of SWP, Jodi hosts her husband, Jason, to discuss the culmination of what God has revealed through Season 1.  Jason and Jodi share about the season they are currently in and the revelations God is imparting to them both.  Seasons are God ordained, in God's timing, and will reveal God Himself....one of the biggest take aways that Jodi shares is the simplicity of focusing on the One who designs the seasons rather than the season.  There are several more take aways....take the time to listen to grab them!

Sometimes one doesn't recognize God's divine purposes during a difficult season.  As an individual moves through life and various other seasons God ordains, sometimes years later one is able to recognize the significance of a difficult season.  This is often how God works and Steve Dodson shares his testimony of God's faithfulness revealed to him how his past was hindering how he saw God and himself.  As Steve shares his testimony a beautiful picture of redemption is seen and Psalm 55:16 is the scripture he uses to depict how he walks with God.
