July 31, 2025when words fail.

constant remembrance of who God is
in moments of frustration and discouragement, i remember
if i never heard another person’s testimony, my faith wouldn’t waiver because he’s already shown me who he is
even when i can’t fathom the words to say to him, he is a father who already knows and he keeps his promises
even when i don’t think he hears me, his actions show me otherwise

“So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. you come to the lord as you are, but you don’t stay as you are
not our place to condemn
our convictions are not someone else’s convictions
we all go through character development and temptations and dilemmas but that’s so the glory can go to God when we overcome
it’s not about where you started or where you fell, it’s when you decided to get up and keep going
a saint is just a transformed sinner
how can you fully know God or what he’s capable of if you lived a life that never needed him

Conviction: a formal declaration that someone is guilty of a criminal defense; a firmly held belief or opinion or the quality of showing that one is firmly convinced of what one believes or says

Judgmental: having or displaying an excessively critical point of view

Critical: expressing adverse or disapproving comments or judgments

Accountable: required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible

Perfect: having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; free from any flaw or defect in condition or quality

Condemn: to express complete disapproval of, typically in public; sentence (someone) to a particular punishment, especially death

sometimes what we want is not in the proper timing
sometimes God has something he wants us to learn or experience before we get to our desires

whatever you lose isn’t from God—God doesn’t give for it to be taken
we may not understand in the moment but it’ll make sense later
we will always face adversity, God doesn’t make problems go away but he does make them easier to deal with
