I had a great time being interviewed about my personal experience with trauma and addiction by Sophia Treyger the Radical Pleasurist.
You get to hear a little about my own story and the work I do with women.
She wanted to interview me because I am trailblazing the way to breaking the silence around these so-called controversial topics and making them uncontroversial to talk about. I do this because I believe our stories are powerful medicine and I know that more people will get the help that they need the more we can talk about it all.
Here is Sophia's youtube channel where you can see other amazing women trailblazing to their hopes and dreams!

Christy and I danced through our conversation about consent in the context of dance, life and with yourself. We talk about the inner critic and how that can affect the boundaries you create with yourself and others.
She speaks about how being a mother was her greatest challenge and how dance supported her to have time to come back to herself and give herself the support she needed.
We talk openly about how through dance we have had some of our biggest truths come in and how beautiful it can be to be witnessed as we feel that pain that can come with realizing those profound truths.
We are both huge advocates of dance and we have both practiced supporting our path as we continue to grow and heal.
Christy is one of my best friends and she has been a guide, ally, healer, teacher and space holder. We have had the privilege to witness each other over the years grow and heal. I love dancing with her and the tribe of women we gather with annually in Canada to dance into our sacred feminine.

Katherine Weed is an amazingly strong woman. She openly shares her process around her mother's addiction and death and how that was a part of her own healing journey. Kat is currently studying to become a therapist, so we had a lot to chat about in the realms of traditional and nontraditional therapy.
Here are the resources that Katherine offered:
Book: Healing Developmental Trauma: How Early Trauma Affects Self-Regulation, Self-Image, and the Capacity for Relationship. Authors are Laurence Heller and Aline LaPierre. Their therapeutic model is called the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM).
Kat's Favorite Quotes:

2) Your ego only knows how to respond in the way that it did when you hired it -Duane O'Kane

This was a great conversation about sisterhood and all the things that wound sisterhood such as jealousy, comparison and competition. We dove into the lineage of those controversial topics that we feel need to be addressed in the rising of the feminine in order to rise together in grace and ease. Leah Rose is also the founder of the Worldwide Women's Circle, a movement that believes our stories are medicine in healing the sisterhood. I hope you enjoy this chat as much as I did.

This conversation was so empowering. Natalie shares about the hard decisions she had to make as a young mother so she could do the work she needed to do to be the amazing mother she knew she wanted to be. Her own path of recovery was filled with the wisdom of listening to the earth and her cycles. She now is a huge advocate of living a creative life with a daily practice that supports your own unique body, mind, heart and soul. Natalie has been a teacher, mentor and dear friend for many years and I love learning from her. She shares her tools and tips that she used to help her over the years which she still uses today.
You can follow Natalie and find here at these locations. I highly recommend signing up for her Newsletter as it is always full of good information around personal practice and magic.
