As December to Dismember rolls on, we'd be remiss if we didn't talk about the hot garbage fire that is "Jack Frost." No, not the schmaltzy family movie where Michael Keaton turns into a snowman. The one where a serial killer melts in a pile of radioactive goo and becomes an evil snowman with bad jokes. Veronica Li from our first episode on "Ginger Snaps" returns, and we pontificate the nature of snowman cum. Don't say I didn't warn you.    

This week, we're kicking off December to Dismember--a month of horror films with a Christmas twist! There's no better way to start than with 2015's "Krampus" starring Toni Collette and Adam Scott. Our co-host this week is Nightmare On Film Street's Matthew Ortiz, who's the first real fan of the podcast to be on (other than my current friends I strong arm into it). Merry Krampusnacht!

A movie starring Michael Caine and directed by Oliver Stone about a killer hand? How could it miss? Unfortunately, the metaphors are a bit too nuanced for your average horror audience as itt relies heavily on symbolism (and I say this in all affection as a lover of Carl Jung) until the last ten minutes of the movie. Luckily, we have a very qualified guest to talk about it--local painter John DeLeon who found life really does imitate art sometimes.
