It's finally Infrastructure Week! We did it! On the episode this week, Emily talks about Biden's newly unveiled infrastructure plan (that means trains and universal broadband, friends). She also talks about Amazon's attempt at union-busting, and discusses recent accusations around Rep. Matt Gaetz. As always, there's also a nice long discussion of republican hypocrisy, this week in relation to the backlash against Lil Nas X.

In "The Joe Biden Job Review Episode" of Sheep Thrills, Emily discusses Joe Biden, the balance between progress and accountability, the fact that the Senate is broken, the allegations that have come out about Andrew Cuomo, and updates surrounding COVID-19. She also goes on (another) tangent about Ted Cruz. This episode also features a (decidedly non-political) rant about GW Basketball.

In The Impeachment 2.0 Episode, Emily talks about the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump and reviews the argument made by the House Impeachment Managers. She also rants about vaccines, stimulus checks, and pillows!
Update: After I finished recording this episode, Donald Trump's defense team completed their presentation. They took significantly less time than they were allotted, and the Senate began questioning both sides. After a chaotic morning this Saturday, the House Impeachment Managers began the process to call witnesses, but ultimately decided to not go forward with the request. The Senate voted at 3:30 on Saturday 57-43, which was not enough to convict. The seven Republican votes were: Burr, Cassidy, Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Sasse, and Toomey. Notably, Burr and Toomey will not be running for reelection. Ultimately, this means that Trump will not face political repercussions for his role in causing the January 6th riot at the Capitol. Get ready for a rant next week because... oh man...
