Shelby Swain Myers, Purdue Ag Econ alum and Grain Market Intelligence Director at Ever.Ag Insights, has been named a Rising Professional for 2023. Shelby Swain Meyers earned her B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, with a research emphasis on agriculture policy and a thesis analyzing the Farm Bill. While at Purdue, she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, was a College of Agriculture Ag Ambassador, and was part of the Ag Student Council. Additionally, Shelby served as a Purdue Foundation Student Board member, Purdue Gimlet’s Greek Leadership Honorary member, a College of Agriculture Issues 360 Pilot Class Fellow, and a Purdue Department of Agricultural Economics Envoy.
