Do you like a little fright in your night? Well, this week's episode of Shelf Check features books that will give you a good scare. Librarian Sharon and Program Specialist Lesley talk about ghostly books and interview Weldon Trantham of the Association for the Study of Unexplained Phenomenon.

Librarians Mark and Miranda go back in time to revisit the required reading ghosts of their high school pasts. Miranda teaches us how to (maybe) love Charles Dickens and Shakespeare. And Mark performs an inception by recommending books about books (about books, about books...). They also discuss what books should be added and removed from High School Reading List.
