Located in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills region of southeastern Ohio, the Hocking Hills Retreat Center (formerly known as the Logan Conference Center) serves as a home base for retreats, sabbaticals and a private escape from the fast pace of everyday life. The center is situated on 700 acres of rolling terrain and features 27 privately owned cabins, 10 rustic vacation cabins, two vacation apartments for rent and is equipped for private deer hunts.

Blaire Crutchley will begin as Children’s Pastor at Shepherd Church on May 8, 2023 and has an incredible story of God’s faithfulness that she brings with her. Blaire grew up in Washington state and loves all things Seattle sports, music, being with people, and waffles. She has pastored in Eagle, Idaho, New Philadelphia, Ohio, and most recently was the Children’s Pastor at One Church, here in Gahanna. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in Christian Ministries and is currently studying for a master’s degree in counseling at Northwestern University.

On today's episode we will have the pleasure of hearing from Dr. Sam Barber. Dr. Sam was the previous lead pastor of Shepherd Church. After serving here, he moved to Kansas where he served as lead pastor for Central Church of the Nazarene. Last year in April he was elected superintendent for the South Central Ohio District of the Nazarene Church and moved back to Ohio. For the past year he was been on a whirlwind tour through the Nazarene churches in the south central Ohio area. Two Thursdays ago, Dr. Sam gave his first report as District Superintendent when he addressed the District Assembly.

Pastor Rob and Pastor Joey return to our Power Series in Ephesians. We will discover God's plan for transformation in our lives and the power that comes to us when we surrender our lives to Christ. We'll also be reminded that it's not about what we do, but who we are!
