As the true vine, Jesus encourages us to “...live, remain, and make your home in Me.” This is His invitation to an ongoing, active connection to Jesus.

Jesus does not simply teach the way or point the way; He IS the way. ‘The Way,’ was one of the earliest names for the Christian faith (Acts 9:2). Who better to show us the way and welcome us home than The Way himself?

Jesus is resurrection life – He brings life to the physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually dead!

Many of us spend our lives searching for exactly what Jesus offers – and all it takes is walking through the door Jesus has opened for us. He not only gave His life for us, but give His life to us right now!

To follow Jesus means to believe in and trust Him, which leads to, as Jesus Himself said, light and life. Those who follow Jesus are like travelers who follow the light on a dark night. Nobody needs to walk in darkness – we can all have the light of life!

None of us need look elsewhere for spiritual food, nourishment, and sustenance – Jesus is everything we need...Jesus is life!

The day in between Christ’s death and His resurrection we wait in anticipation. In much the same way as we wait for His return now, we take pause as we long for what is to come.

On Good Friday we gather to mourn our Saviour’s death on the cross by centering our focus on remembering His sacrifice through communion. We take time to thank Him for all that he gave up and what it means for us.
