Shift Your Spirits

You’ve heard people in the new age personal development world talk about the stories that no longer serve you. Getting rid of them. Putting them down. Letting go of what you keep choosing to be burdened by.

Who are you if you get to erase your past stories and start from scratch?

This week I’m taking about how the current times are affecting our dreams and aspirations, and how to adapt your concepts of career and purpose to meet this strange moment.

The whole thing feels like a giant oracle message for creative entrepreneurs.

I recently visited a Marian Visitation shrine tucked away in the mountains of South Eastern Tennessee—of all places. I never knew it existed, I’d never heard of this particular Marian apparition, and the day I found myself there was a remarkably sweet synchronicity.

A paranormal memoir from when I was in college, in which a ghost told me something about the way spirits view us.

If you would prefer, you can read the story in its original post format.

I’m sharing some of the clairaudient phenomena I experience. It’s actually not always that clear at all.

This episode is a shout out to a client I did a reading for this week who engaged me to help her decipher the messages she’s receiving in the form of music with song lyrics.

These are not recognizable existing songs — hers are original.

And in talking with her, I employed a lot of the same tools we use in the Automatic Intuition program, because I think ultimately, she has a channel of information emerging, and she’s learning how to work with that.

So, I thought I would attempt to de-mystify some clairaudient phenomena and experiences by diving deep into describing some of my own.

I know that my talking about it can help you locate it within yourself.

I’m reconsidering my personal concept of connecting with guides, including a way to access guides from a more intellectual, agnostic, psychological point of view.

My thoughts have evolved quite a bit in the 14 years the ebook Contacting Your Spirit Guides has been out.

So many things I have taken for granted I now have no choice but to let go of, and yet I’m still walking around magically thinking these things are going to come back.

I'm sharing observations about letting things go.

I’m sharing an interview with our resident astrologer Dena DeCastro looking into the birth chart of the United States of America.

Our discussion was originally recorded in 2019, a year before and a world away from the alternate universe in which we now find ourselves in the US in 2020.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this conversation in light of current events. I'm curious about what it reveals in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement, the racial justice protests, and of course this disastrous presidency.

This is the closest thing to an entertaining and enjoyable New Age political discussion you are likely to hear, and as she does with personal charts, Dena finds some optimism and an opportunity for empowerment in her reading.

We have some upcoming opportunities to change the world in big ways.

I’m dealing with a lot of procrastination. Resistance is rearing its nasty head. It is never totally vanquished …

I don’t know about you, but I personally need to revisit some thoughts about procrastination, the different forms it can take, what it’s trying to tell us, and when it might actually even be a form of intuition.
