How did Marc find out he had cancer?

In this episode of Shine Beyond Cancer, we get to hear Marc's story with cancer. During the beginning of 2011, Marc was diagnosed with Epstein Barr virus. The virus was supposed to fade away, but symptoms persisted.

"My body just started doing some weird stuff so I knew there was something wrong in my body."

A visit to the New York Presbyterian Hospital gave Marc his diagnosed after a blood test. A diagnosis no one would like to hear. He had cancer. Listen as Marc shares his exact diagnosis, where he believes his cancer resulted from and whether his career, finances, and family life were all in a positive balance. Not to mention the ground rule that he had for his mother.

How did Lisa react after being diagnosed with cancer?

In this episode of Shine Beyond Cancer, Lisa Diamond gets personal by sharing her cancer diagnosis starting with a visit to her plastic surgeon and the calling for an emergency mammogram.

"What I had wasn't really a lump, it felt more like my implant was encapsulated."

Her diagnosed came to her at an unexpected point in her life where she was on a total roll. Lisa doesn't hold back and shares the exact reaction she had when told cancer had entered her life. Something she and Marc know cancer survivors do not forget.
