If someone went over your life with a fine-tooth comb, what would he find? As Chuck says, the rewards of a life well-lived never end. They continue from generation to generation.
How do you calculate the value of your work? Is it by the salary you earn? How fulfilling your work is? Whether your job leaves time for family life? Well, the importance of work goes beyond all those things. See what truly gives value to the work you do as John MacArthur offers some biblical Wisdom for the Workplace.
Grief is a powerful and often overwhelming process that no one voluntarily wants to experience. But it’s a normal and inevitable part of life. Jane Daly and Geremy Keeton share their personal stories of loss and insights they’ve learned in the journey. They describe how grief can draw us closer to the Lord if we are willing to go through it, stay connected with others, and trust God for the results.

Elijah was depressed and exhausted. “Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, ‘Get up and eat.’…He ate and drank and then lay down again” (1 Kings 19:5-6 NIV).
What does God say to the sad and weary? Be refreshed. God told Elijah to eat and sleep. The drama on Mt. Carmel. The execution of the false priests. The twenty-seven-mile run in front of Ahab’s chariot. He had reason to be depleted.
God rested on the seventh day. The world didn’t collapse when he took a Sabbath. It won’t fall apart if you do the same. If you are depressed and feel like giving up, his word to you is “get refreshed.”

Season 3, Episode 6
In this episode, Michael and Zach continue their series through Galatians by examining Paul’s movement from slavery to sonship in Galatians 4:1–11. Paul describes God’s people under the Law as heirs who, while still under guardianship, function much like servants awaiting the time appointed by the Father. But when the fullness of time came, God sent His Son to redeem those under the Law and bring them into His family through adoption. The discussion explores what Paul means by the “elemental things of the world,” the significance of Christ being born under the Law, and the remarkable privilege of believers receiving the Spirit and crying, “Abba, Father.” Michael and Zach then examine Paul’s warning that the Galatians’ return to religious observance as a basis for righteousness is not spiritual progress but a return to slavery. The episode ultimately asks why Christians would try to gain through religious performance what God has already freely given them in Christ: sonship, belonging, and an inheritance.
